There was a successful and famous movie in 1994 called ‘The Shawshank Redemption’. It moved a lot of people at that time. It got high ranks in IMDB. The storyline introduced in IMDB is ‘two imprisoned men bond over a number of years, finding solace and eventual redemption through acts of common decency.’ It is really a good conclusion of this movie.

This movie explained the connection and the meaning of ‘dream’ and ‘redemption’. As long as you can hold the dream, you will be able to have hope of salvation.Hope is a good thing, and maybe the best thing of all.

I remembered the good saying in the movie. “Fear can hold you prisoner. Hope can set you free.” Wherever you are, keep your mind free. If you are not open your heart to the world, even you are in this society, you will still feel lonely. Prison can keep you in a place, but it can’t confine your soul. Don’t be afraid even if you are in an awkward situation, everything will go well just needs time. You should believe in yourself and keep having hopes. You will lose everything only if u doesn’t have hopes.

Shawshank encompasses friendships, hardships, hopes, and dreams. And what is so great about the movie is that it moves you, it gives you hopes. Even at that situation, Andy still can see his bright future.

Let’s see the world around us. Most people in this world don’t want to be unhappy but the truth is many people are unhappy. Lots of people wish, pray and above all hope for that magic can be happy. Actually they are busy dying. They don’t know how to be happy, but happy things are happening every minute they just don’t notice them. They always complain that how hard their live is. They are getting used to just notice the unsatisfied things. What a pity for them. They are supposed to open their mind and find the meaning of their life.

And Wechat seized the good opportunity and got developed quickly.
Because of Wechat, people are getting closer even don’t meet face to face. We can share everything just by using our fingers. We can find people nearby if we open location service then we can make friends easily.

I saw many different kinds of movies recently. The most impressive scene is from a movie called the notebook, which is released in 2004 from the best-selling novel written by Nicholas Sparks. It was a hit at that time (11 wins & 7 nominations). It’s kind of ‘chick flick’ in my opinion. Director Nick Cassavetes was very successful to make this kind of romantic drama, which impressed me a lot. I do love the saying at the post “behind every great love is a great story”. It’s really a nice and unbelievable story.

The whole movie is talking about a poor and passionate young man (Noah) fell in love with a rich young woman (Allie) and gave her a sense of freedom. Because of their social differences, they broke up at the end of summer. After a few years, they met each other and they two both made up their mind. They make the right choice in my opinion. This is the power of love, can defeat everything even death. Allie lost her memory when she was old, but her husband Noah tried to help her remember things by kept talking about their loving story.

‘In your life, there will at least one time that you forget yourself for someone, asking for no result, no company, no ownership nor love. Just ask for meeting you in my most beautiful years.’

The most favorite scene is at the end of the movie. Allie and Noah slept at the same bed.

Allie: I need to ask you something.

Noah: What is it, sweetheart

Allie: Do you think that our love can create miracles?

Noah: Yes, I do. That’s what brings you back to me each time.

Allie: Do you think our love could take us away together?

Noah: I think our love can do anything we want it to.

Now you mention the name of a song, people always associate with a classic movie. Such as “Linking park”, people will remember the Transformers; “Let it go”, people will remember the Frozen. I also use 《What i have done》 made a Transformers MV.
And then why the movies always with the music? The world became smaller through network. People are getting closer just by using the fingers. The social Medias such as Face book and Wechat can be downloaded in apple products. U can share everything whenever you want and wherever you are. Life becomes more colorful and interesting. We can explore the world just by clicking the mouse, which totally changes everyone’s daily life. What we enjoyed owes to Steve. He is a legend in everyone’s mind.

But because of his health issues, he left us at 2011. But what he left is still influencing our life. In other words, he still lives in our life and our mind. Thank you for your shared innovations. I will miss you Steve.
